Please be aware that a bespoke design is a long process from start to finish. Give me at least 6 months notice from the initial design consultation.

Do your reserach

Come with pictures of dresses you like from films, websites or magazines.

Design consultation

At least 6 months to the big day:

Arrange for a free consultation where we can talk about design ideas and fabrics.

We can also discuss project costs at this stage.

Inital Measurements

At least 6 months to the big day:

Once you have decided to continue, I'll need to take your measurements. I know these may change...

1st fitting

3 months to the big day:

I will make a mockup of our design from linen and arrange for a fitting.

This is an opportunity to make design changes and check in with any changes to your measurements.

Fabric

3 months to the big day:

We will discuss the fabric at this stage and where I, or you, can source the material.

2nd fitting

6 weeks to the big day:

I'll make changes to the linen dress and ask you back for a final linen fitting.

This is the last chance to make minor changes to the the design and measurements before the dress is made from your fabric.

Final Fitting

2 Weeks to the big day:

The dress is then replicated in your chosen fabric, and the final fitting is arranged. Final tweaks can be made here and there, maybe a 2nd final fitting required, but there is enough time for that!
