The original dress was a fun charity shop find, but was too tight. 

We used the shoulder straps to create additional triangular panels to insert into the side seams.

The concealed zip in the centre back was removed, and a metal-toothed zip added for a more punked-up look. 

The raw edges were bound with tape in a contrasting colour, which extended over the shoulders to make new straps. We finished these in a little bow for full kitsch effect!
