Pin Hem

This is a beautiful couture technique to create a crisp, lightweght hem for delicate fabrics.

The garment is cut to 1/2" longer than neded, a small hem turned up and stitched close to the folded edge.

Raw edge of fabric is trimmed away close the stitch line.

Hem is turn over again and carefully stitched on top of the previous stitching

Finished garment has a tiny, even hem, with only one line of stitching showing on the right side
