Kim's dress needed extensive alterations! 

The dress was taken in at the sides and around the bust, with the insertion of more natural shaped bra cups. The damaged elastic loops at the back were replaced with ribbon loops. 

The underskirt had extra net added to emphasise the fishtail shape, the  skirt was shortened across the front and the train was reshaped and made smaller. Finally, loops were attached to lift the train for the evening.

All alterations on this dress involved a great deal of unpicking of existing lace before carrying out the alterations and then handstitching the lace back in place to give a perfect finish
