Kate wanted a slinky and soft dress, which used her favourite colour blue and had tactile roses around the neckline. 

We used a fitted design with long sleeves and used rouleau loops and covered buttons to fasten. The sleeves and train featured bespoke embroidered designs to echo the 3D roses on the neckline. 

The whole dress was made from a very lightweight, crepe backed, silk satin lined with cotton lawn to provide opacity and weight to the finished dress.
