Claire had bought a dress she was hoping to use as the base for her wedding dress.

In the end, she wanted so many different details from the original that we only salvaged the lining! The outer part of the dress was made from silver organdie, with a double layer of frayed fabric at the hem for a modern twist. The bodice was lightly gathered to create a softer fullness, and set with scattered, hand stitched pearls with a pearl trim to provide definition at an empire line waist.
